Butterwick House Children's Hospice has launched the Butterwick Apprentice. The idea is very simple - we give your team £50 and three months - and ask how much can you raise? Can you double or triple it? Can you do more than that? What are your limits? How successful can you be?
All the proceeds from the scheme will be donated to the Butterwick House Children's Hospice - meaning your hard work and efforts will help us to provide our special support and help to children with short and precious lives.
Any business is welcome to join the scheme - the only requirement is that you have the enthusiasm and commitment necessary to take the challenge and in doing so support the valuable work of the Children's Hospice. So, all you need now is a team.
This can be all of the guys form the office, or if you are a larger company, either a select group or how about putting a number of your teams into the challenge to create some friendly competition?
You can then do anything (so long as it's ethical and legal!) you want with the £50 to raise funds - you just have to do your very best to see just how much you can make for charity.
The Benefits
The challenge will be great for your team and for your business...
Firstly, it will provide a great team-building activity for your team, with the members coming together for a good cause to deliver something new and different to their every day tasks. This can only have a positive impact on their future team work.
Secondly, your team will be able to continue to develop key skills - such as team building, project planning and delivery, in addition to increasing their ability to think outside of the box and do something different - during the challenge, which will strengthen their work place performance.
Thirdly, this is your company's ability to showcase what you do best - you can demonstrate just how special your team is and just how innovative and impressive your team are.
Fourthly, this is a great opportunity to generate some positive press and PR around your company. You are helping to support a very worthy local cause, in addition to showing just how good your team and company are, and we are very keen to share these good news stories to the local press and beyond.
Finally, it's free to enter and you are free to have as much fun as you possibly can while taking the challenge. You can also take a great sense of satisfaction that you are helping children with life limiting illnesses.
The Butterwick fundraising team will be on hand to support the participating teams as much as is necessary.
